• In partnership with the Kiel Institute for World Economy: New Technology and Medical Decision Making: Normative Models and Empirical Practice , to be held in Salzau Castle (near Kiel, Germany), from the 4-9 October.  The conference will be chaired by Professor Uwe Siebert.  In addition, there will be talks selected from poster abstracts and prizes awarded to the best posters.  For more details you can consult:

• In partnership with Linköping University: Intersectionality, Identity and Power: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Intersectionality Studies, to be held in Vadstena ( Sweden) from the 11-15 October.  The Chair is Professor Nina Lykke.

Applications are now open for the ESF Research Conference Cities and Media - Cultural Perspectives on Urban Identities in a Mediatized World, organised in partnership with Linköping University, which will be held in Vadstena , Sweden, 25-29 October 2006 and chaired by Professor Johan Fornäs from the Department of Culture Studies at Linköping University.
